Furthermore, I think it is more productive to think about general, more abstract issues than a particular line of reasoning.<br /><br />The fact that I didn't specify a particular line of reasoning, though, doesn't imply that none exists, nor does it imply that such reasoning constitutes an "irrational excuse".
